Nephron Pocket Neb Mesh Nebulizer features a lightweight, portable vibrating mesh nebulizer for aerosol drug delivery to patients with respiratory conditions like asthma and COPD. In this Pocket Neb mesh nebulization, medication is aerosolized in a single pass-through of the mesh creating a fine respirable aerosol of fewer than 5 microns. The Pocket Neb can operate with treatment times of around 4-7 minutes with an average dose of 3 ml and have residual volumes of about 0.1 ml.

How To Use Pocket Neb Mesh Nebulizer?

  1. Remove medication cup from handset.
  2. Open cap on top of medication cup.
  3. Place medication in medication cup as prescribed by physician.
  4. Slide medication cup on to handset until the medication cup  into place.
  5. Attach mouthpiece or mask adapter to medication cup.
  6. Press on/off button to start treatment.
  7. After treatment remove medication cup and follow cleaning instructions[12].
  8. Remove medication cup from the handset.
  9. Rinse the medication cup with distilled water.
  10. Add a small amount of distilled water to the medication cup and replacethe cup on the handset.
  11. Run the unit for 15 seconds to clean mesh.
  12. Allow medication cup to air dry.
