A handheld nebulizer conveniently fits in your hand, making it completely portable for travel. If you are constantly on the go, consider using a handheld nebulizer. Handheld portable nebulizers have revolutionized the use of asthma medication as they are small enough to fit in a purse. Hand-held nebulizers deliver medicines in the form of aerosols to add moisture and help control your respiratory symptoms. Nebulizers use compressors and require electrical outlets to run. The handheld portable nebulizers allow asthma sufferers to take their medication anywhere, at any time.
We offer a great selection of handheld nebulizers available in different shapes and styles, to provide freedom to those with active lifestyles.

Supplies required for using a nebulizer

  • Hand-held nebulizer.
  • Air compressor.
  • Mouthpiece or face mask.

Where should you use the nebulizer?

Nebulizing treatments should be taken in a well-lit area. Select a comfortable place in your home where you can take your treatment without being interrupted. Find yourself a comfortable chair with a straight-back when taking your treatment.

Care of nebulizer

  • Cleaning and disinfecting your nebulizer is very important. Rinse the nebulizer cup with warm water after each treatment. Shake off excess water and let it air dry.
  • At the end of each treatment, the nebulizer cup, mask, or mouthpiece should be washed in warm, soapy water using a mild detergent.
  • Rinse thoroughly, and allow to air dry. Note: There is no need to clean the tubing that connects the nebulizer to the air compressor.
  • Disinfect your nebulizer once per week or more frequently.
